Question: Hi what is means?there were 12 pairs of ribs on either side of the thoracic spine on the previous ct chest and Underlying apices are unremarkable.What does my scan report indicate?

Well this report means everything is normal . Every human has 12 pairs of ribs . Underlying apices unremarkable means there is no abnormalities detected at the apices ( Apices means top portion of the lung )
