Brief Answer: You are suffering from dyslipidemia. Detailed Answer: Hello XXXX Thanks for writing to HCM You are suffering from dyslipidemia with liver injury. This is a common disease among adults due to changing life style. Increased SGPT indicates liver injury. It may be due to deposition of fat within the liver cells. You are rightly prescribed tablet Ursodeoxycholic acid 300 mg.It helps in regeneration of damaged liver cells. Besides this, you need hypolipidemic drugs like combination of tablet Atorvastatin 10 mg and Fenofibrate 140 mg once daily after dinner. This will control your lipid in blood. You also need few more investigations like Ultrasound of abdomen. You also need life style modification and diet changes. You should avoid red meat, high fat milk products. Cook food in olive or canola oil. You should take limited salt in your diet.Avoid fried and junk food.Avoid alcohol & smoking if you take these things. Take lot of fruits and vegetables. You should also increase your physical activity in the form of walking and exercise. You can also do meditation and yoga.It will help you a lot. Don't take stress in life. Get well soon. Hope I have answered your question. Further queries are most welcome. Take Care Dr.Indu XXXXXXX
