Question: My A1C level is 11.0 ,what exactly does this mean I had the test done but no one explained anything to me

HbA1c level gives information about the mean glucose level of the last three months!
It is high, corresponding to a mean glucose level of the last three months: 270 mg/ dl.
So it means that you have Diabetes.
( The normal glucose levels: 70-110 mg/ dl fasting and up to 140mg/dl postprandial).
Your physician will explain better regarding to the type of Diabetes, having into consideration your weight, medical history, family predisposition ect.
