Question: Glucose Tolerance Test = 134 during pregnancy of week 23 is normal or abnormal? what are the problems behind this

You have just mentioned one reading which in all likelihood is not glucose tolerance test but glucose challenge test.Glucose challenge test is a screening test and value 134 is normal but if it is a glucose tolerance test please get back to me with full report ie fasting,1 hour,2hour,3 hour values.

Hi Doctor it is Glucose Challenge test only (Taken sample after one hour by giving glucose) in this it is 134

This is what they have tested in XXXXXXX clinic USA

Hi,since it is a glucose challenge test the value is normal.It should be less than 135 and since yours is 134 it is normal and rules out gestational diabetes. Hence nothing to worry.
