What Does My Following Laboratory Results Suggest?

default
Posted on Wed, 24 Sep 2014
Question: My laboratory results show 3 cases not within the limits: ALP = 143, Urea = 9.2 and Lipase = 65.
I am on high Blood pressure lowering drugs: RAMIPRIL, BISOPROLOL and ROSUVASTATIN (Cholesterol).
I have been taking the above drugs for 5 years. Could you tell me whether there has been an interaction responsible for the elevated values? And what to do about it.
Many Thanks

Brief Answer:
Please, upload the full report!

Detailed Answer:
HI and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this laboratory report and all the inconveniences this must have caused you. I have reviewed these results fully and they all fall within their respective normal limits. Unless the laboratory has special units and defined ranges for these tests, I find it difficult to tag them as being out of the normal limits. For this reason, I will like to see the full report sheet so as to see what they use as normal limits and how far are the reported values from their expected normal values. This would be helpful and without which I will not be able to comment further but say they are normal.

We have the option to attach a result in the form of a pdf of photo image. Use this option to upload the results. Should you have any difficulties, please talk to our customer service for help.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
