Brief Answer:
PTCA is mandate in your case.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Rajanarasimha Garu,

I understand your query and concern.

Sir its extremely important that you undergo PTCA stenting at the earliest since LAD is the main vessel supplying the heart muscle.

In your case the proximal portion is involved which implies that the beginning portion of the vessel is involved which is a definite indicator that stent has to be placed to eliminate the obstruction and restore the blood flow.

Moreover any obstruction exceeding 70% is a definite indication of stent placement.

Your doctors have advised you the right choice of treatment management.

Its extremely important that PTCA is undertaken by you at the earliest since you have a history of hypertension which has a propensity to worsen the stenosis.

Post your further queries if any.

Thank you.
