Brief Answer:
Hello dear. Please provide details.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. Welcome too HCM.

A chest CT scan typically images lung and chest wall only. It is difficult to comment on the breast.
Please provide details of the previous scan as well as the treatment taken. A mammogram or the MRI of the breast will be a better imaging investigation for the ca breast, or a full body PET scan.

Please upload the details.
Thanks and regards

Hi Doctor... I have a pulmonary nodule that is being followed. I have never smoked but my dad died of lung ca. My left brrast has been sensitive lately and I thought I felt something that felt like sand so I was wondering if the ct scan would have seen anything. My last mammo was in September with Ulttasound.

Brief Answer:
Hello dear. MRI would be better.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear.

If we are suspecting a breast primary, and the mammogram is normal , then an MRI of the breasts or a PET scan will be better investigation.

However, only a lung nodule can be easily followed upon on low dose chest CT scan if MRI of breast is also normal.

Thanks and Regards
