Brief Answer:
Seems like typical heart failure. Consider ruling it out.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for using Healthcaremagic to post your health query.
I read carefully your question and I reviewed your blood tests report.

I don't think those symptoms can be from menopause.

I confirm that your blood tests are very good and platelets and Eosinophils elevation is not significant of any problem.

It concerns me that you have shortness of breath during activity and swelling in your lower extremities. Those are symptoms of a heart failure. Even if your lab tests are within normal limits I think you need to rule that out. Your doctor should check your lungs and do some specific labs to confirm that you don't have it.

Also I see that the tests were done in February so you might need to repeat them too.
Swelling in the legs is sign of fluid retention which means that the heart is failing to do its job as it should.

That is the main things I would rule out because your symptoms seem very typical ti it.
Hope this is helpful.
Let me know if you need more clarifications.

Hello thank-you you for your insight. I must tell you it is extremely freighting to think I have heart failure. What is a long term prognosis for that contition? I wouldn't think very good... I understand you don't know for sure and I need to see my doctor but I would like your further opinion. Thank you, XXXXXXX Burns

Brief Answer:
It can be reversed by using treatment.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Mrs. Burns,

I am sorry if Heart failure sounds like scary words, and I am sorry I didn't thought that when you listen to them for the first time, it sounds like that.
The prognoses it is actually quite good. The heart failure can be reversed by using medicines. The negative is that it stops you from functioning normally in daily life if left untreated, since you would have shortness or breath and being tired all the time.

Anyway, I am not saying that you have it for sure. From what you are telling me I don't see reasons why would heart failure be present at you suddenly. But since the symptoms are typical, then it is better to rule it out, because treatments are available.

Hope I clarified you know and reassured you.

Regards,
Dr. Papaqako
