Brief Answer:
most likely viral

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

Viral infections commonly cause such suppression of wbc. This is temporary and they recover in few weeks. You had symptoms of viral also so most likely that is the cause here.

The fatigue will go away in some more time and the counts will also recover. There is no cause for concern here.

Hope this helps.

Brief Answer:
I don't think antibiotics are necessary

Detailed Answer:
Antibiotics don't help in viral. He meant if fever did not go away in 3-5 days but now it is gone, so need of antibiotics.

You can repeat a cbc in 2 weeks to look at the recovery. But infections are unlikely.
