Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.
Your SGOT, SGPT, total cholesterol,LDL cholesterol are out of range.
The most likely cause for your raised SGOT and SGPT is fatty liver.
This fatty liver could be due to high cholesetrol levels.
Fatty liver can be confirmed with an ultrasound scan of the abdomen.
Though alcohol intake also can cause fatty liver, in your case it is mostly likely to be due to high cholesetrol.
You need to check your blood glucose level as high blood glucose is another common cause of fatty liver.
Other causes of abnormal liver function should be ruled out which includes infection with hepatitis B and C.
So you need to do the following-
1. Ultrasound scan of the abdomen
2. Check blood glucose level
3. Get tested for Hep B and C
4. Quit drinking alcohol
I hope that answers your question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr.R.K
