Brief Answer:
X-ray may suggests degenerative changes in cervical spine.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Cervical X-ray findings may suggests degenerative changes in cervical spine. It is evident by presence of osteophytes, scoliosis and facet joint arthopathy.
Degenerative changes are generally age related findings. Osteophytes are due to chronic stress on annulus fibrosis.
There is also forward displacement of C6 vertebra over C7 vertebra,it may be due to past trauma.

You are rightly advised for MRI (cervical spine).MRI can assess nerve root compression, inter vertebral disc bulge etc. These are important factors in proper management.

Majority of degenerative disc disease patients are benefited by conservative treatment in the form of physiotherapy, analgesics and muscle relaxants.
Surgery is advised in non responding cases.
Physiotherapy helps in strengthening of paraspinal muscles and it prevents further changes.

Get well soon.
Hope I have answered your query.
Further queries are most welcome.
