Question: I had MRI of lumbar I have a herniated bulge with tear doctor thinks this is causing thigh burn and lat knee ache with bilat heel pain though upper arm shoulder pain continues to ache especially with movement still no relief cant afford therapy and had to pay for 2nd MRI out of pocket

Well yes the herniated disc bulge can cause nerve compression which supplies to the region of thigh , knee, leg and foot. The ideal treatment for this is a surgery but since affordability is a factor to consider I recommend you to avoid prolonged standing.

You can use Pregabalin every night which shall improve your numbness.

Well as of your shoulder pain is consider I suspect the same herniation of disc at your neck level. The same medicine shall help for your shoulder problem also.

You can also take physiotherapy for your neck and shoulders.

Kindly ask your doctor for prescription of Pregabalin and use it .
