Brief Answer:
Pus cell count normal.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Let me assure you that a pus cell count of 2-4/hpf is normal and nothing to be concerned about. Presence of reducing agent in stool indicates presence of undigested food matter (loosely speaking) in stool. It can happen in a number of conditions including lactose intolerance. It may or may not be a cause for concern. Clinical correlation is needed.

Is reducing substance in stool a serious thing or it goes off after the bacterial infection is gone

Brief Answer:
Possibly you need not bother.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. Possibly it is unrelated to the infection. If she does not have any other problems like frequent episodes of loose stools, just do not bother.
