Question: Attached is a mole that was removed from my back. Biopsy came back and all they said was precancer. Im assuming that's good? They want me to come back into freeze the area. Is there a 100% chance of survival with this?

Brief Answer: Dysplastic nevus Detailed Answer: Hi XXXXX I am Dr. Kakkar. I remember talking to you yesterday. What they probably mean is a dysplastic nevus. Freezing the skin with liquid nitrogen, would destroys the abnormal cells that compose the nevi. There is a 100% survival. -I suppose they must have already removed the whole of it already, in the biopsy? regards
