Brief Answer:
Your creatinine level indicates kidney problems...

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thank you for posting!

I have gone through your query and I understand your concerns.

Normal creatinine level for men ranges from 0.7-1.2 mg/dl. When creatinine level is higher than 1.2 mg/dl it indicates kidney problems.
Creatinine level of 2.0 mg/dl indicates normal kidney function only in people with high muscle mass.

However in this case level of 2.0 mg/dl indicates kidney problems. To find this problem you need an abdominal ultrasound(kidney and urinary tract area) and an urine albumin test.

Ask me for anything unclear.

All the best.
Dr. Behar.

We are in a remote area of XXXXXXX so not sure where those tests are done. I guess my question is this something I can keep track of with my regular doctor as this has been in that area for a few years. dialysis is definitely something I do not want any part of if it can be helped. AS mentioned I have no problems emptying by bladder. I go about four , maybe five times a day with good elimination. The scale I do not fully understand such as good, moderate, keep watch or get to a hospital rather quickly. What causes this problem and if there medication that can reverse this trend at this point?

Thank you. XXXX

Brief Answer:
I suggest going to hospital...

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for writing back.

I suggest going to hospital in order to check your condition and treat it properly.

Creatinine level of 2.0 mg/dl indicates kidney failure. However, your symptoms aren't aggravated, because you are in the early stages of it.
By treating kidney failure in early stages, you can stop its aggravation.

The treatment of this condition is complex and it depends on the cause. To find the cause of kidney failure you must get the tests I mentioned above done.
Therefore, this is the reason why I suggest going to hospital.

If you don't need any further clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer.

Wish you good health.
Dr. Behar.
