Question: Does the skin on penis goes back when erects? I am getting erection but skin not rolling back.

Is it because the nerve has not been cut?

Brief Answer:
Not necessarily it goes back

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for the query.

The skin on the head of penis may or may not go back when erect. It depends on the length of the prepuce (skin). If you are able to push it back manually without difficulty it is not a problem at all. However if you are not able to push it then you should check for other problems like phimosis. If it does not go back you may have unsatisfied during intercourse.

There is no relationship with nerves here. Hope this info is useful.

Brief Answer:
Not normal

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

the skin has to be retracted fully when erect. If not it has to be examined why is it not retracting?
so please consult a general surgeon to examine the case and take necessary action.
sometimes a simple lubricant can help to retract fully. but it is better to do it by doctor. after retraction it has to fall back as well.
so better get examined.

Retract fully means below the head of penis or beyond that..there is one nerve which attached to edge of the head..thats not allowing to retract beyond the end of the head

Brief Answer:
Beyond head till the groove appears

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

You should be able to retract till you can see the groove looking from the top. underneath there is frenulum that is always attached to head.
During surgery they will cut this frenulum makiƱg easy to retract.
I still suggest to get examined and clear doubts.
