Brief Answer:
Not a medical emergency, watch for alarm symptoms

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for the query at HealthcareMagic

The sugar level alone is not a medical emergency.
If your aunt develops headache, blurred vision, confusion, loss of consciousness, dizziness, excessive thirst, dehydration, decreased urine, vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain ,fruity odor of breath, breathing pattern changes ,then she should be taken to the emergency room because those alarm symptoms are indicative of complications of diabetes like Diabetic Ketoacidosis or Hyperosmolar non ketosis.
Please watch out for the alarm symptoms I mentioned above.
However ,her blood sugar level is very high. Adequate control as early as possible is very important . I recommend that she follow up with a primary care provider as soon as possible.

Hope this answers your question
