Brief Answer:
Probably nothing to be worried about

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to HCM. Thank you for your question. I understand your concern.

I think you are referring to the description that the EKG machine gives in the EKG printed letter. Just to be clear, no doctor sends you home if he/she trully sees abnormalities in EKG. Therefore, I can assume we have to deal with a phenomenon, which is mostly present in young ages, and it is called accelerated repolarization, which may resemble with an infarction in the EKG. If this is the case, then there is nothing to be worried about.

However, as I can see you are very worried about this, I would recommend you to undergo a Echo cardiogram (heart ultrasonography), to properly assess the structure, motility and function of the heart muscle and valves, so we can rule out infarction with highest probability. In the meantime, I would recommend you to remain calm and not to worry.

I hope I was helpful with my answer. If you have follow-up questions, I would be happy to help.

Best regards,
Dr. Meriton
