Brief Answer:
Osteoporosis (benign) may be the cause

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for posting
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. To understand better I would like to know, how the compression fracture happened. Any Injury?
This compression fracture can happened because of severe weakness of bone that is Osteoporosis, Infection and not always due to cancer.
Let's have the biopsy and we will be surer. All the best.
Take care
