Brief Answer:
Tinea corporis most probably

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I read history and saw the photo. Then I could conclude that most probably you may be having Tinea corporis.... also called ringworm infection. It is a fungal infection caused by fungus, namely dermatphytes.

Kindly consult the dermatologist and have proper diagnosis and proper treatment.

I would suggest....

- have blood test for blood sugar
- antihistaminics like levocetirizine 5 mg daily
- antifungal like itroconazole 200 mg daily
- apply sertaconazole cream
- avoid soap bath, dettol liquid may be used for bath
- keep the area dry

Take continuous treatment for few weeks or till the lesion vanishes. It may relapse as it is highly infectious, if fungal hyphen remains on skin. Triamcinolone is a steroid,it should be avoided as it may exacerbate the fungal infection. To prevent relapse, nearby people should treated,if they have such lesions. Clothes should be washed in hot water.

I hope this would help you.

Thanks.
