Brief Answer:
Mucosal cyst

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare Magic and thanks for putting up the query
You are having a mucosal cyst. It is usually idiopathic or can be due to trauma like due to toothbrush.
If it is asymptomatic like no pain or any lymoh node swelling than nothing is to be done.
If there is any increase in size or there is any irregularities In the swelling, you should get it excised.
Any further questions are always welcome.
Take care
Thanks and regards

Thank you for the reply. It is asymptomatic and I have no lymph node swelling. It does not cause any pain while eating or swallowing or even while touching it.
Don't know for long I have had it but been observing it for atleast 6 months. It hasn't changed in size.

I also suffer from chronic sinusitis and have been using nasal drops for 5-6 years. I am addicted to them Wonder if it has anything to with that ?

Hi
Thanks for the information.
The swelling is not related to sinusitis at all. If you don't have any symptoms you can relax and be watchful for any changes in future.
You are always welcome with any further questions.

Brief Answer:
Mucosal cyst

Detailed Answer:
Hi
It doesn't look like cancerous at all. If you have any doubt, the only way is to get it excised and get a histopathology done.
You are always welcome with any queries.
