Brief Answer:
Scoliosis is very rare to develop as an adult

Detailed Answer:
Hi. I seriously doubt that it is scoliosis. More likely the posture is the key. Scoliosis develops in children as the spine develops. If you have any doubt. The easiest way to confirm is to get x-rays of the spine (AP and Lateral). You can upload those to the site and I will check them for you.

Hope this helps.

Brief Answer:
We will need x-rays at this point.

Detailed Answer:
I would suggest that you get a set of x-ray of your spine at this point. You can ask a diagnostics labs for the following x-rays of the spine

1) X-Ray C-Spine AP, Oblique & Lateral
2) X-Ray T-Spine Ap, Oblique & Lateral
3) X-Ray L-Spine Ap, Lateral

Once these are done we will have a set of images which can rule this issue out once and for all. I opt for this instead of a CT scan to minimize X-ray exposure.

If you have any existing x-rays, it would be a good idea to upload them. I might be able to use those and save you the trouble.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
