Hi and welcome to HCM

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the query.
Considering his symptoms and verified pancreatic mass, the malignancy is highly suspected. It is not uncommon that biopsy cant reveal exact diagnosis and most pancreatic cancer can be diagnosed by typical CT appearance and clinical picture. He should check his Ca 19-9 markers too. If surgeins require 100% diagnosis then you need to do MRI pancreatogrpahy or repeat biopsies.
It is of course always possible that this is adenoma or cyst which are benign, but surgery is probably required and exact technique depends on localization and type of tumor.
During surgery, part of tumor can be sent to urgent analysis and if there is cancer then Whipple procedure must be done. If there is benign tumor than just resection of pancreatic head can be perfiremd and prognosis is much better of course. Wish you good health. Feel free to ask. Regards
