Brief Answer:
probably nothing serious...

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

there is no reason to freak out because there not enough data for that! Your blood counts are commonly found in patients with mild infections. You've got a slightly elevated total white blood cells count consisting mostly of neutrophils (which is very common in infections).

Tell me more details about corticotomy... Was it done in your mouth or elsewhere? Do you have local symptoms or signs (swelling, local warmth etc). Do you have any other symptoms? A low grade fever like yours with a slight elevation of white blood cells is not usually something to worry about. Until a diagnosis is established, you should be cautious for any symptom or sign that may appear.

Right now, the best thing you can do is to visit your doctor for a careful assessment of your history and clinical examination. The sexual contact does not seem relevant with the current data.

I hope you find my comments helpful!

Kind Regards!

Thank you.. Yes, corticotomy was done in my mouth. No further symptoms, no swelling, warmth..), I also have erythrocyturia but that's going on for months now, still without a diagnose.. USG, urography, all ok, waiting for kidney CT ,creatinine as well as GFR - fine. (within norm). Other that than I have quite a stressful job and been smoking a lot recently. No other illness or anything relevant i could think of. I feel generally ok. Thank you very much for your reply, I already feel better,

Brief Answer:
probably not related to corticotomy too...

Detailed Answer:
You're welcome!

I'm glad that you feel better. Although I can't say anything for sure without examining and talking in detail about your case, it seems that the corticotomy is not the cause of your fever either. We're always cautious when invasive treatments have been applied but we would expect more symptoms.

Useful additional tests would include C-reactive protein (CRP), ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate).

Your hematuria requires a diagnosis. Some disorders are not that important because they don't cause serious and permanent renal damage. Other disorders may do so though and prompt diagnosis and treatment is required. Careful microscopic examination of the red blood cells in the urine may provide useful clues. Intact red blood cells usually originate from the lower urinary tract. Fragmented red blood cells usually originate from the upper urinary tract, although a mishandled specimen may have fragmented red blood cells. Serological and immunological tests are required to detect renal disorders like the various types of glomerulonephritis.

Kind Regards!
