Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. The WBC count was initially raised but subsequent came back to normal. The blood glucose or blood HbA1c level needs periodic monitoring.

I would insist you to provide me with further details regarding the ailment and based on the same I will let you know whether home treatment is feasible.

Let me know if I could help further.

Brief Answer:
Diabetes needs to be kept in control

Detailed Answer:
In case of absence of definite symptoms I would insist you not to be worried about the WBC count, especially because the relative count of polymorphonuclear neutrophils is not raised. The elevated HbA1c level indicates that you need regular medication for strict control of your diabetes. The microalbuminuria indicates that diabetic nephropathy has already set in i.e. the kidneys are gradually being affected.

Please discuss with your treating physician for dose modification or prescription of alternate drugs.
