Brief Answer:
This looks like an osteosarcoma.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

I would like to give some good news about this x-ray but I cant. Osteosarcoma is the most probable diagnosis at this case. After MRI he needs biopsy, chemotherapy, surgery and another chemotherapy.

I`m sorry giving you such information.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
Its too early to tell if the treatment will be effective.

Detailed Answer:
MRI will tell how large is the tumor and will determine the type of surgery (arm amputation or tumor removal). Chemotherapy reaction is also important. So its too early to tell about possible cure. It is possible, however sometimes a cancer spreads to other parts of body.
He should consult Orthopedist with this problem.

Regards.
