What Do The Attached PET Scans Indicate?

Question: When the (SVG XXXXXXX ) are above 2.5 ( and the report says the metabolically active mediastinal lymphadenopathies what does that mean exactly? Is that can be considered malignant condition?Please see below the PET scan findings.

PET scan findings :-
FDG avid (SUV XXXXXXX 3.88) right lower paratracheal node measuring 1.1x 0.8 cm is seen.
FDFG avid (SUV XXXXXXX 3.19) subcentimetric prevascular node is seen

Thanks for your reply. The patient had radical renal nephrectomy on November'2017. Post surgery PET scan findings are

FDG avid (SUV XXXXXXX 3.88) right lower paratracheal node measuring 1.1x 0.8 cm is seen.

FDFG avid (SUV XXXXXXX 3.19) subcentimetric prevascular node is seen

What does that mean to a patient? Who should be contacted for this investigation?

Hello again

According to the prescription of PET CT they looks like inflammatory .

However it would be better for the patient to be seen by his doctor (oncologist??? if he/she has consulted him).

What was the biopsy result after the nefrectomy?

If it was a tumor than oncologist should be contacted.
