What Do Recurring Redness In The Eye While On Medication Indicate?

Question: Hello doctor,
I have 3 years 4 months daughter,she got injury in left eye on 26th april,doctor suggested she has corneal abrassion,then she sugest to patch her eye with mo-floren ointment,next day it was heal,from next day we started toba eye drop and tobonox eye ointment,after 4 days redness come back and go to local doctor she prescibed moxiflocin eyedrop and tobacin drop and mo floren ointement,after two days we go in city for better treatment and eye checkup,then in city doctor check all and precibed lotepred for 5times 1 week,3times 2week,once 3rd week,after complition on 1week,Redness was gone but,i notice in sclera that some grey spot where the redness was ,what is this spot,what should i do now

Hi.... I understand your concern. This looks like a pigmentation or a scar (The picture is not clear).

But if the child is not having any major issues or complaints because of it - you need not worry. It is not serious.

This requires a slit lamp examination by an ophthalmologist.

I suggest you approach a pediatric ophthalmologist regarding this.
