Question: IM 59 MALE I HAVE A TERRIBLE RASH AND PEELING SKIN WHERE MY GROIN IS ON BOTH SIDES I HAVE
TRIED POWDER,BABY OITMENT, CORTISONE CALMINE LOTION SKIN IS PEELING AND IM IN EXTREME
PAIN I SARTED LAST NIGHT WITH A SITZ BATH AND EPSON SALT IS THIS SOME TYPE OF CROTCH ROT IVE HEARD OF? VERY PAINFUL AND SKIN IS RAW!!!

Perhaps you have Intertrigo - Inflammation of a body fold. Intertrigo may burn and pain. Sweat, which gets trapped in groin due to apposition of groin folds weakens the skin. Weakened skin gets inflamed when it rubs against each other. This weakened, red and raw skin is called Intertrigo!! I request you to kindly upload a few Images in "Reports Section" so that I am able to confirm the diagnosis and guide you better.
