Brief Answer:
Might take a few more days

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. I have checked the attached image. Indeed it seems to be a boil due to a bacterial infection. Applying T-Bact ointment should suffice although you might need to continue it for a few more days. If the condition worsens you might need to give antibiotics clindamycin or clarithromycin. Clindamycin gel can also be applied instead of T-Bact.

Let me know if I could help further.

Brief Answer:
Clarithromycin is an oral antibiotic that could be used.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. As I mentioned, clarithromycin or clindamycin are oral antibiotics that can be taken. But I doubt if they would be needed as application of the antibiotic ointment for a few more days should suffice.

SIR, PLS let me know atleast any pain killer syrup for kids. The pain is increasing although applying clindamycin.
Do we need to apply any bandage or medicine strip so that pus can come out? Pus is not coming out.

Brief Answer:
Paracetamol or acetaminophen should suffice.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. Paracetamol or acetaminophen syrup can be given as pain killer. Let me know the body weight and I will let you know the requisite dosage. You do not need to bandage the boil. The pus would need to come out.

Application of antibiotic ointment usually suppresses the pus and in that case, the pus may not come out.

However, if the pus remains inside and does not resolve incision and drainage might be required. I doubt if such a thing would be needed.
