What Do Persistent Diarrhea And Blood Discharge Suggest?
Question: I am being tested for a biliary obsturction. They have ruled out gall stones. I have had an ultra sound and MRI and am scheduled for a CT scan next week. My stool has been clay colored and I have been having diarrea since the 1st of may. I just recently had a three day bout with constipation that returned to diarrea yesterday. This morning the diarrea is back, but I now have blood in the stool. Should I seek medical help? I'm on vacation. Can I wait until I return home by the end of the week?
