Brief Answer:
Supraventricular ectopics due to stimulants!

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for choosing HCM.
Practically speaking your echo report is perfectly normal.Mild concentric hypertrophy of left ventricle is because of pressure overload(hypertension) except that all other findings are normal.
Holter shows supraventricular ectopics. Most likely cause of supraventricular ectopics are the stimulants you are on.Short runs of supraventricular ectopics are insignificant and most likely they are going to settle down as your doses of stimulant will be decreased. As off now yes you can keep on taking stimulants as prescribed by your pyschiatrist,Just keep a watch on your symptoms. If you feel that palpitations are increasing over time then drug would be tappered off.
If you cant upload more files mail them to me at YYYY@YYYY with subject as "Attn: Dr Rishu Saxena".

waiting!
Thanks.

I take my BP with a home moniter 4-5 times a day. before I started BP medicine on 1-5-17 I had slightly increased BP readings and would get several irregular heart beat signs each month but after being on BP meds for 1 1/2 months and not drinking coffee in the afternoons I get very few irregular heart beat signs if any.
I would like to stay on 10mgs. 4 x a day of Dexedrine IR as long as my symptoms stay the same or decrease and if symptoms increase over time I should decease the dosage or try another stimulant that might have less heart side effects.

question:
so, do you think it will be acceptable to stay on a total of 40 mgs. per day of Dexedrine IR daily? and should I do any follow tests annually like a 48 hr. holter
monitor test... etc.??

Brief Answer:
Follow up answer.

Detailed Answer:
Hi again'
As per the reports yes you can stay on 40mg doses per day(consult your pychiatrist).
Yes 24 hour holter monitoring and stress test should be done every 6 months,However if you feel symptomatic(symptom are increasing significantly) any time consult from a cardiologist should be taken without delay.Fasting lipid profile should also be done along with stress test and holter.

Thanks.
