Question: This is a query to Doctor XXXXXXX Gomez. I had submitted you some reports that pointed out I have a hyper throidism. You had thereby asked me for TC Uptake scan. Please find attached.

thanks for uploading the tc uptake scan picture.
Usually acute painless thyroiditis do improve by itself.
You need not take neomercazole
continue to take propranolol 20 mg TDS for 2 months
Repeat your blood tests after 2 months (thyroid function test)
Your present illness is likely to get cured by itself in 6 months time

we give medications in your case to avoid symptoms... thats all. for 2 months only..
but if you thin you dont have any tremor, palpitation, anxiety, you van go ahead without any medications
repeat your thyroid function tests after 3 months--you will see its spontaenously walking the road to recovery
