What Do My Lab Test Reports Indicate?

Question: Sir, my ESR is 1st hour is 22 2nd hour is 44. CBP is normal , ECG is normal, x-ray shows 1. Mild accenaction vascular markings noted 2. Mild prominence of hila noted -? Vascular. 3 Soft tissues & bones in view are normal.. Had exersion and litlle breathless XXXXXXX pls advise..

ESR is a very non specific test . It can be elevated in a number of conditions from simple fever to cancer. So it has to be interpreted in view of your problems .

Breathlessness could be due to problems in heart, lungs, Kidneys or low blood . Mild accentuation in vascular markings can indicate an allergy problem. I recommend you to get Pulmonary function test and revert back .

You can ask for a prescription of bronchodilator medicine like Salbutamol and use it for few days.

As of now no need to do anything for ESR. Just repeat it after 1 month and if it is still elevated revert back to me.
