What Do My Blood Test Reports Indicate?

Question: My Name is XXXXXXX XXXXXXX Aged about 26 Years and iam married and i have 2 children's and 2 childrens were born by caesarian and my menstrual was happened just one week ago.
iam suffering from Typhoid since from last 10 days, at the first blood report as on 9th XXXXXXX the widal test was positive with 1: 80 and at the second blood report as on 16th XXXXXXX the blood report was positive with 1:40, i want to know still how many days the fever will be continuing. the medicines using are Zinocin 200, Pyrigesic tablets, since from last three days there were no fever but since from today early morning again fever is coming with 100.5 Temperature.

I Want to know what diet i need to take and for how many days, can i take upma, chapati, dosa and others.

Motion is not regular and freely happeing so pls suggest me any medicine for that

it's not typhoid.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
I must tell you that your widal test is not suggestive of typhoid fever.
Widal test is a very non specific test. It represents the antibodies against Salmonella that causes typhoid and only rising titres are significant.
In your case,the titres are going down which is not possible in ongoing typhoid fever. As titres start coming to normal after 4-5 weeks of starting treatment.
Since you recently had a baby so most commonly fever in post partum period is due to Urinary Tract infection or Stitch line infection.
In my opinion you should get a Urine microscopy and culture done to rule out Urinary Tract infection.
Since you are already on antibiotics so your Urine examination might come out to be normal. In that case you would require to take Broad spectrum antibiotics like Nitrofurantoin.
