Brief Answer:
Possible ureteric stones

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Lower back pain along with blood in urine is commonly due to the presence of ureteric stones. CT scan can confirm the diagnosis.

CT scan can also evaluate the anatomy of kidneys, ureter and bladder, and help rule out the presence of masses, cyst etc that can cause similar symptoms. So please be advised to undergo CT scan as scheduled.

Hope this answers your question. Please let me know if you need further clarification.

Brief Answer:
Possibly skin tag

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

The skin like bump near urethral opening is likely to be skin tag. It is nothing to be worried about. You can consult with your physician and confirm the diagnosis. The presence of the skin tag will not cause the pain or blood in urine. If the skin tag is not bothersome, it can be left alone untreated.

Hello,

Pap smear screening for women above 30 is every 5 years if the screening is combined with Hpv dna testing. Nowadays, almost always hpv dna testing will be done during a pap smear. Otherwise, pap smear needs to be done every 3 years.

Can low back pain also cause pain in pelvis areas like a burning pain
doctor
Answered by Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal (7 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Ureteric stones can cause such symptoms

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

The presence of ureteric stones can present as low back pain and burning pain in the pelvis.

Another consideration is the infection of kidneys, which has already been ruled out in your case.

Other causes for such pain is possible vaginal infections and pelvic inflammatory disease. Vaginal swab microscopy can rule out vaginal infections.

Has your scheduled CT scan already been done? If so, the CT scan can confirm both ureteric stones and possibly pelvic inflammatory disease.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Answered by Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal (6 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Burning pain is not characteristic of ovarian tumor

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

In the previous question, you mentioned back pain with burning pelvic pain. The burning nature is not characteristic of an ovarian tumor or cyst, which are more likely to cause a dull ache or pressure sensation.

Ovarian pathologies including tumor, the cyst can cause bloating which can be generalized in the abdomen. Other causes for bloating include fluid collection, excess gas, constipation etc.

Hope I have answered your query.
