Question: Hello, I'm looking at diet pills to help me lose the huge belly and spare tire that have attached themselves to my body. I am a 54 year old female, who live in North XXXXXXX bilateral amputee who is in a power chair for around the house and outside. I do have my right prosthetic and use it when going out in our personal vehicle, I have a left prosthetic, however my leg has too much extra flesh on it to fit into that prosthetic to be comfortable. So, I know walking is the best exercise, but you see my dilemma on that subject. Any other ideas?
Thanks, XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:

What is your weight and height?

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Advise is guided by weight and size which enables us to calculate your BMI.

Also, pills often cause transient weight loss only for you to regain it as soon as you stop. However, most pills require thorough evaluation before prescription as they basically overrun the body to work and burn calories than usual.

Am happy you are already doing the right things: Cutting down on portions as exercise is difficult given your condition.

Also, if your weight is over the board, surgical methods could be considered. Do you have any other disease condition such as diabetes, hypertension or renal disease?

I will like to hear from you before guiding further. I wish you well.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
