Posted on Tue, 8 May 2012
Question: Hi, I am a 23yr old male and a while ago i developed a weird masterbation habit, I would cross my legs, right before orgasm and prevent an ejaculation. I went to a doctor because it hurt when I would urinate, and sometimes after regular masterbation. He diagnosed me with prostitis and gave me an antibiotic. I am worried that i might have damaged something else

Hi,

Thanks for posting your query.

The symptoms reported by you as pain during urination and masturbation are suggestive of prostatitis.Since you were preventing ejaculation this might have caused the inflammation and swelling of the prostate gland. The antibiotic prescribed would help in subsiding the symptoms and may take 2 to 3 days for the effect to show up.
If other organs as testes or spermatic cord would be damaged you would have experienced unbearable pain with other symtoms. So I do not think simple masturbation and closing the legs act will damage any private parts.
Continue taking the prescribed medications.
Avoid masturbation and intercourse for couple of weeks.
Avoid smoking and restrict alcohol.
Have 12 glasses of water to flush out toxins.

If the pain and burning in urine does not subside even after a week consider visiting your Healthcare Provider for evaluation.

Hope this answers your query.I will be available for follow up if any.

Thank you I really appriciate it,
the only other question that concerns me is that after I would prevent the ejaculation there would be a burning pain primarily towards the tip of the penis that would last hours then stop. I also noticed seamon in my urine after this act. Would this also be associated to the prostate? I would also like to say that when i masterbate normally now there is a burning pain after i masterbate but my seamon flow seems to be normal. I guess im just worried about this affecting my XXXXXXX plumbing

Hi,

Thanks for the follow up

It is normal to have burning pain on the penis tip if ejaculation is prevented. The semen which you are noticing in urine is because the sperms are not being released so it is the mechanism of the body to release them through urine.
The burning sensation after masturbation is due to the presence of inflammation and will be relieved after the treatment.Do not take unnecessary stress by these thoughts. You should be fine.

Hope this answers your query.
