What Could Those Liver Lesions Possibly Be When Diagnosed With Rectal Cancer, Lung Cancer And Throat Cancer?
Question: My fiancée has had rectal cancer, lung cancer, throat cancer, and tomorrow is having a biopsy for a lump in the perineum. He had 2 ct scans the other day and the results were just posted tonight. My main concern is the part about the liver lesions. I need a little clarification on the wording and the possible meaning

It seems that the radiologist feels that follow up for these places in his liver is warranted. Im worried that the cancer has spread there. Please look again at the wording of both scans. One state..there are round low attenuation lesions in the anterior right hepatic lobe which is indeterminate. Does that sound like cancer that has spread to the liver? Again, please refer to both ct scan reports

I have gone through both the scans. Soft tissue low attenuated lesions are difficult to judge for a malignancy and your radiologist is right in following these lesions. I will recommend an ultrasound once in a month to look for the behavior of these lesions. As of now, the lesion don't appear to be cancerous.
