Answered by Dr. Asmeet Kaur Sawhney (2 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Seems to be reaction to Augmentin, it will take 10-14 days to recover.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

It seems to be an allergic reaction to Augmentin. I would recommend you to apply topical steroid like Clobetasol Propionate Cream diluted in Moisturex Soft Cream in the ratio of 1:3 on the affected areas twice daily.

You can also continue with tablet Dazit for another 7-10 days.
This problem can recur if you will take Augmentin again in the future.

It will take around 10-14 days to recover.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thank you.

Brief Answer:
If you don’t take Augmentin in the future, it won’t recur.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

If you don’t take Augmentin in the future, it should not recur. Although, this kind of peeling can occur as a reaction to any other drug.

Since you have stopped Augmentin, this won’t spread to other parts of the body.

It can take another 10-12 days to resolve completely. Along with Moisturex Soft Cream apply Clobetasol Propionate Cream on the affected areas.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thank you.

Dryness occurs more in winters but can occur in summer as well

Hello,

Dryness occurs in winters but some individuals do have a dry skin all throughout the year.
