Brief Answer:
Side effect of Valsartan

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

As per your the details, you are taking Valsartan which is an AT1 antagonist. Dry cough and cough related problems are often seen in patients with Valsartan. It is one of the frequent side effects of ACE inhibitors and can be seen with AT1 antagonists also.

Stop Valsartan and start S-Amlodipine. It is a very safe and a well tolerated calcium channel blocker; it is often easily tolerated by most of the patients.

You need to discuss this with your cardiologist. Stop all antihistamine etc.

Hope I have answered your query.

Thank you.
