Brief Answer:
Mostly Baro trauma.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

Ear block during air travel is mostly due to changes in pressure in ear fluids (Baro trauma).
In your case it is mostly due to Baro trauma which may have damaged your ear and caused inflammation. In this case you feel like something blocked your ears.

Yellow discharge from ear may be due to infection. Do you have ear pain?

I suggest you visit an ENT doctor for ear examination. Doctor would advice antihistamines or nasal spray and if you have infection doctor would prescribe antibiotics.

Meanwhile I suggest you Chew a gum or suck a candy which is helpful to open ear tube.
Do not probe into your ear. Steam inhalation may help you.
I suggest you to take Cetrizine 5 mg twice a day. Valsalva maneuver may help you. You can see it on youtube how to do it.

If you have any queries I will be happy to help you.
Thank you.
