hankyou, l have an answer
yes it has been diagnosed as clots in and near the stent
why has this happened?
l have been taking warfaren and 5 other medications, for anti clotting, blood flow, all the correct medications and appropriate for my condition
after the stent was implanted all was perfect, then after 6 weeks was so bad ,worse than before
another angigram was performed, and told me,the stent has been "cleaned"
then put on warfaren, was ok for 3/4 weeks ,now 2 days ago ,all worse than ever,l cannot walk more than 10 meters
l live alone,so it is aa problem shopping ,all
my warfaren levels are as stipulated, now 2.4 to 2.7
l have regular blood tests fro my levels
l seek independent opinion
l believe the stent has not been placed correctly,or some other????
l had a stent in my heart 7 years ago, never been any problems
l have no allergys,weight normal
good eating habits
no medical conditions ever
this problem with the stent in my leg,has made my life worse than before
I had less pain and problems before the stent in my leg was inplanted
now cannot sleep,pain
numbness
extreme pain, lie on my bed ,1 hour in pain
before l had the stent in my leg implanted, only had cramps when walking
now much worse
pain.serious pain
l live alone,so all this is very restricting to me
please give me your opinion

Brief Answer:
I think this stent is not functioning properly

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case and I think this stent is not functioning properly. So your blood flow to calf muscle is not improved leading to continuous cramp in leg. I think either it is not placed properly or there is again a clot formation. A rare possibility of infection is also there.
I would recommend you to get following test.
1. Angiogram
2. SPo2 in feet
3. Blood test for infection
Than accordingly further management can be planned. If there is improper stent than I am afraid it need to changed. If you want you can take opinion from another doctor than the one who has operated.
If it is infection or clot than it can be tackled with antibiotics and thrombolytic medication.
I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
thanks

no redness or inflammation,l cannot send you any images of tests taken
when the stent was implanted there was a problem,as l was conscious l overheard
when the angigram was performed I had extreme pain in my inner /upper leg,l had trouble keeping still, very deep pain.but l kept still
the doctor said ,it probably a reaction to the die.
the doctor asked for a stent, the doctor said this stent is not correct, another was ordered to the hospital from another state.
it arrived the next day,on insertion ,placement of the stent the doctor told his assistant that the blockage was reaaly "bizarre"
so after 2 attempts the stent was implanted
l did not feel comfortable with having 2 procedures
and pressure on my femoral,to prevent bleeding 2 days in a row left me with extensive bruising, which took 4 weeks to go
the thing that is strange to me is,for 6 weeks after my leg was like normal again
then in 1/2 days was worse than ever
now it is so so bad ,the pain some time
before I had the stent l only had pain when walking, and could alleviate by not walking
this is not the case now
yu said you think perhaps the stent has been not placed correctly or maybe the incorrect type?
If this is the case can the existing stent be removed and replaced ith a suitable stent?how long does this procedure take, what is involved?
is it similar procedure?local, femoral or wrist?
no general anesthetic
please inform me ,as all this gives me anxiety as well as pain
thanking you

Brief Answer:
Your stent replacement can be done through femoral approch

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
First thing we need to established is that whether stent is blocked or damaged. If it is blocked than it can be done through clot dissolving medications.
If it damaged than it can be replaced through femoral approach.it will need anesthesia. It can not be done through wrist like heart procedure.
For finding out stent problem we need to get a angiography or a Doppler test.
I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
