What Causes Whitish Penile Discharge Post Ejaculation?

default
Posted on Tue, 9 Sep 2014
Question: Thickish white jelly like substance following ejaculation? I haven't had sex in well over 6 months. After the last time I had sex (risky female partner) I got tested a month later. I was clean. But I still have somewhat of a burn when I urinate, tip seems red all the time, and I just noticed a white substance discharge out when I milked my penis after masturbation. I don't think I'm at risk of stds but then again, I don't really know.

Brief Answer:
Discharge mightbe semen.Multipletests for STD need

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.

Whitish discharge while milking after masturbation or ejaculation is nothing but the remnant of the ejaculate. As this fluid present in the genital tract might not get out completely through the ejaculatory force and movement, the left out may be able to get milked out.
Whereas if you have such discharge on milking the urethra without any ejaculation, it could be possibly due to urethritis of Sexually transmitted infections. Examination of urine and the discharge fluid could reveal the same. Burning sensation during urination might be either due to urethritis or due to inadequate consumption of water.
You had your tests one month after the risky contact. What were the tests done? Because STD s are more than 30 in number and can not be ruled out all with one or two tests.

I received the blood and urine tests for HIV gonnorrhea chlamydia and syphillis. All were negative. I honestly don't drink enough water daily and that could have something to do with it after consulting with my gastrologist. She found some keytone in my urine or whatever it's called. Occasionally a small amount of semen like fluid that's clear will sit at the tip of the penis but it's not much at all. There has been a reddish lump on the center of my upper lip. It basically blends in with my lip and is closer to the inside of my mouth so it's hardly noticeable. It's been there for quite a while and Abreva did not clear it up. Maybe I'm thinking too much, but I feel like if I had a test done a month after then I should be okay. Plus I used protection and did not give or receive oral.

Brief Answer:
STD cause ruledout.Precum normal.Drinkwater adequa

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.

As your tests for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia were negative the whitish material could not be due to any STD causes.

Clear viscus fluid appears on the tip of penis or urethral opening on erection or following any sexual stimulation is not semen or discharge. It is nothing but a fluid called as Precum or Prosemen or Pre-ejaculatory fluid. It cleans the seminal passage and coating the same to remove its acidic environment to save the sperms from getting damaged before it reaches vagina. So it is quite normal and a gift for you. Nothing to worry about the same. Reddish lump on your upper lip unlikely to have any relation to your sexual activity.
Adequate consumption of water would relieve your burning sensation during urination.
