What Causes Wetness And Sticky Feeling In Penis And Itchy Testicles?

Question: Yes, thanks. I have a question about a possible std. My penis is sticky and feels oily and has an unusual smell. My testicles are itchy. This has been ongoing for a couple of years. It sometimes stings when i pee as well. At first I thought it was a result of gaining so much weight but now I'm not sure. I have gained 140 pounds since a car accident 5 years ago. My penis also seems to be shrinking. Can you tell me if this is an std? What test should I get to diagnose this?

Wetness and sticky feeling alone are not STD symptoms. Itching scrotum could be due to various reasons like fungal infection, seborrheic dermatitisor eczema etc.
If you clean your genitals inside the foreskin after retracting the same completely, you will get rid of the stickyness and smell. It may even be due to your anxiety. Drinking plenty of water will relieve the burning urination.
If it persists, consult a dermatologist. If you are sexually active and have extramarital contacts, have your tests for STD/HIV and rule out these possibilities under the supervision of a physician.
