Question: 52 year male,hospitalised with Gi bleed and as per CT and endoscopy report GIST present.3 kg weight loss over 3 months.kindly confirm whether this GIST is long standing or incidental finding.what could be the cause of weight loss.kindly review all attahed documents.as per CT report-known GIST is mentioned.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
The reports are of Female/52 (not male as you have mentioned) and date back to
12/04/2016 ....
Shows GIST as cause of GI bleed, needed blood transfusion and patient from Andhra visiting UK.
CT no metastases, GIST.
Wight loss is obviously due to GIST.

Since the reports are quite old, please mention the follow-up treatment and the present position.
