Brief Answer:
Peripheral neuropathy

Detailed Answer:
Good day,
Noted your symptoms. These symptoms are suggestive of nerve involvement of your feet which could be due to many illness.
There are several possibiities
1) Diabetes
2) Vitamin b1/b6 or B12 deficiencies
3) Spinal cord or spine lesions
4) Alcohol excess
5) Lead or other toxicities.

At your age, you need to be exained carefully to rule out above disorders and also you need investigations to rule out these. You may also need a nerve condution study, MRI of spine , Prostate antigen test etc.

Please meet a general physician or neurologist as well.

Thank you doctor. Would the nerve condition cause weight loss and dryness of mouth. By general physician do you mean a specialist of internal medicine. Are there treatments for peripheral neuropathy ? Are these what the neiurologist would determine. ? Can damaged nerves repair themselves .

How about the atypical cells which came out of the urology test and for which I have been referred to a urologist. It seems that my symptons are not related to that.

Thank you

Brief Answer:
Illness causing weight loss and numbness need to be diagnosed

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for the reply.

Nerve involvement is the reason for numbness. However the cause of nerve involvement ( some of which i mentioned in previous reply) should be determined. Those causes can cause weight loss as well. In short there is a disease which cause nerve involvement and weight loss. We have to find out that disease.

The list of diseases which i mentioned in earlier reply is not complete. At your age, we need to consider many other illnesses. However, a doctor need to examine you first. Yes, internal medicine specialist is best to be consulted who in consultation with a neurologist will arrive at a conclusion.
