Brief Answer:
Weight gain

Detailed Answer:
I see. It is indeed quite unusual to gain 3 pounds n 3 days.

Make sure your weighing scale is working fine.

When I see someone like you in my practice, I typically order the following blood tests in addition to a detailed physical examination:

CBC
Electrolytes
Calcium
HbA1c (Glycosylated Hemoglobin = your 3 month glucose average)
Liver function tests
Kidney function tests
TSH
25 hydroxy Vitamin D

There are other possibilities too such as a swelling in the belly , for example, but these things require an in-person check. Ultrasound is performed to look for abnormalities inside the belly ('Abdomen-Pelvis')
