Brief Answer:
Possible viral infection/food poisoning considered

Detailed Answer:
Hi there,

I have gone through the medical history of your fiance and feel sorry for the situation he is in.

Throwing up and diarrhea are signs of acute gastroenteritis most probably due to:
- viral infection (if he is also having fever or other flu-like symptoms)
- food poisoning (due to food/drink he might have consumed)

I advise to give him:
- plenty of water and fluids (yogurt, juice is he does not throw up)
- Oral rehydration salt you can find over the counter
- continue giving pepto bismol
- lemon drink (lemon juice with water and soda bicarbonate)
- curd, light soups for the next couple of days

It is important to give him fluids within the next couple of days or light meals. If the symptoms won't improve or get worst within the next couple of days, take him to the doctor.

Wish fast recovery! If you have any other question, do not hesitate to contact me again!
