Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your heatlh concern.
Please let me know what was the date of your last menstrual period.
Generally by 5 - 6 weeks, a fetal pole should be seen and after 6 weeks , heartbeat should be seen.
You still have time.
As the bleeding is not heavy, you can remain hopeful.
The medications are hormones given to support the pregnancy.
Only repeat TVS ( transvaginal scan ) after a week will show if the pregnancy is viable, or needs to be terminated.
Take rest meanwhile, avoid stress, do not have intercourse.
Do you have any pain / cramps ?
All the best
Please feel free to discuss further.

My lmp was on 27th march
I also attached my scan report plz look into it.
I hav pain but not severe .. It is quite bearable .. My doc advised me to stay on complete bed rest which is actually making me feel very sick . I had a bhcg test on 1-5-2014 for sample collected on 30-4-2014 hcg levels are 877.12miu/ml.

Detailed Answer:
Did you always have regular cycles.
As per your LMP, if you had regular cycles, you should now be more than 6 weeks pregnant, and the scan puts you at 5weeks 2 days.
I have gone through your scan.
You have only one option - follow medical advice strictly ( including bed rest ) and have a review scan after one week.
Take care

Detailed Answer:
No it would not have any effect on the baby.
In fact, I strongly feel that you should wait for a week more, instead of stressing out.
Before the review scan, there is no way of knowing if the pregnancy is going to proceed fine.
What is the point of worrying then?
Your anxiety is natural, but all you can do is take the medicines, rest and pray.
I too wish you all the best.
